Who should attend?

Can I bring a team from my organisation so we can work together?
Yes. You will work as a team at the Academy. You can bring a team from your organisation to work together or we can assign you to a team made up of people with different specialisms from different organisations.
Can I attend as an individual?
Absolutely. Individuals are encouraged to attend and will be placed within a team to complete the course.

Who leads the course?
The course is led by expert lawyers from Cordery Compliance. They will use their experience in handling breaches to assess your skills and guide you through the process. They will draw on their experience of handling breaches which have been reported to regulators and their knowledge from responding to some of the most well-known breaches. Members of the team will appear in different roles throughout the day, for example as technical experts giving you real-time reports as the issue develops with a chance to ask questions to determine the severity of the breach.

Where will the academy be held?
The academy runs, in Central London close to Fleet Street and St. Paul’s, on secure premises so that you can discuss real-life situations without the danger of being overheard, for example, if the training was running in a hotel. Representatives of each team will spend time in breakout sessions working as a team and in a studio environment.
How long does it last?
The academy runs from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
How much does it cost?
Attending the academy costs £995 per delegate. There is a 20% discount for subscribers to the Cordery GDPR Navigator subscription service. Discounts are offered for 3 or more delegates attending the same Academy session from the same organisation.
