A bit about the role

The primary role of the Compliance Consultant is to scope and deliver information security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) consulting services for company customers. The position reports to the company’s Senior Risk Consultant and shall conduct assigned projects, documenting and presenting consulting project results and remedial recommendations to customers as requested.

The Compliance Consultant is expected to work independently in the delivery of company services. The Compliance Consultant shall engage in pre-sales activities and lead engagements for services they can deliver directly for “strategic” clients as required.

You’ll enjoy a varied workload that includes:

  • Assist clients with completing scoping questionnaires and conducting assessments against the Cyber Essentials standard as required
  • Assist the Sales Team with the development of content required for service proposals and quotes
  • Delivery projects as assigned
  • Submit project management reporting requirements and metrics on Monday as required for each project
  • Communicate daily with clients during the project delivery phase
  • Escalate delivery problems immediately to Team Leader
  • Draft project deliverables in accordance with established guidelines
  • Clearly identify and communicate commercial opportunities associated with project delivery upon completion
  • Provide ongoing advice and assistance to clients to ensure knowledge transfer
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Continually promote the company brand
  • Assist with business support tasks as requested
  • Produce blogs, infographics and/or informational articles as requested
  • Conduct research as requested

Also, let’s not forget that you will also be attending a social event or two which will help you build relationships and have fun.
